Outline:

The metandienone is the de-hydrogenation derivative of methyl-testosterone with a similar protein anabolic effect as testosterone propionate but with its effect of male hormone being weak (about one per cent of the latter one). This product can promote the protein synthesis, inhibit the protein hetero-plasia and maintain the balance of positive nitrogen, thus enabling the increase of the appetite, the growth of the muscle and weight gain; it can promote the deposit of calcium and phosphorus in the bone tissue, promote the formation of bone cell mesenchyme, accelerate the bone calcification and bone growth; promote angiogenesis and granulation tissue formation, accelerate the wound repair. It can reduce blood cholesterol and improve the lipid metabolism.
Metandienone has been abused in US sports competition. However, because of the side effects of the male hormone, long-term or large doses are very harmful to the body and therefore, it had been included in the disabled stimulants list of the International Olympic Committee in 1976.There are in total of 31 species of disabled anabolic agents: metenolone, methandriol, boldenone, methyltestosterone, clenbuterol, mibolerone, clostebol, nandrolone, danazol, 19-nor-androstenedione diol, dehydrochlormethyltestosterone, 19-Nor-4-androstene-3, 17-dione, diethyl nandrolone, hydroxyl-methyl androsterone, oxandrolone, fluoro-1-methyl testosterone, hydroxymethyl testosterone, formebolone, oxymetholone, gestrinone, mesterolone, stanozolol, dianabol, and trenbolone.

Application:

It is suitable for treating lack of protein synthesis and increased decomposition, such as the negative nitrogen balance caused by chronic wasting disease, severe infection, trauma and burns, cancer, osteoporosis, children mal-development, dwarfism, bone fracture which is not easy for healing and high cholesterol symptom.

Dosage:

For adult, at the beginning, take 10 ~ 30mg daily and separate into 2 to 3 times for oral administration. After the control of the disease, you can change and maintain a daily 5 ~ 10mg with continuous administration of 4 to 8 weeks being one treatment course. The interval of repeating the treatment course should be 1-2 months. Elderly should reduce the dosage according to the exact condition. Infants should take 0.05mg / kg per day. In order to improve the efficacy, the patients should also simultaneously administer appropriate amount of protein, sugar and vitamins.

Adverse reactions:
1 The adverse reactions of metandienone are similar as those of general androgens and anabolic steroids. The patients may get gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, and diarrhea. Long-term large-scale use can cause bone weight gain, sodium retention, increased blood supply to the skin, hypocalcemia and bone hyperplasia. For female patients, there may be slight masculine reactions such as acne, hirsutism, thicker sound, clitoral hypertrophy and menstrual disorders.
2. Side effects on the liver such as jaundice, liver dysfunction etc. There have also been reports about the liver cancer and benign hepatocellular adenoma after the application of metandienone.
